A to Z Challenge: Writing Colors - Zucchini

Welcome to the final day of the A to Z Challenge!

Thank you, all who have followed me while I have been providing different colors for descriptive purposes in writing using the website Color-ize. This has been fun, and I hope you all got something out of the info I've shared with you.

The final color for this challenge is: Zucchini!

Anyone else love zucchini? What about zucchini bread? Mmmm...Anyway, zucchini is a very specific green. It's rich and dark, and to some not a very appealing color, but it is a vegetable, after all. Zucchini's actually one of a very elite list of vegetables I eat without complaint.

So there you have it, 26 colors to help you describe your writing! Thanks again for stopping by. :)

  1. I didn't realize you could use zucchini as a color! Interesting. Congrats on reaching the finish line!

  2. Zucchini is one of those vegetables that I tolerate. I don't hate it, but I don't really like it, either. But if it shows up on my plate, I'll still eat it.
    Congrats on finishing the Challenge!!

  3. Zucchini is soooo good; your mention of it in the context of colors has me wondering if Crayola ever named one of their crayons after this vegetable. I think it could work as a color depending on what it's being used for. Perhaps in fabrics, as it might make for a cute pair of pants, shorts or a bold jacket. Time to hit the runway. Ha!

Congratulations on completing the challenge this year. You are an alphabet champ! :)

  5. What I love about colors is that any object can be used to describe a color. Zucchini green, eggplant purple, banana yellow...and apparently fruits and vegetables are the best. lol

  6. She twirled into the room, her zucchini colored dress floating around her. They always painted the door to their house zucchini.

I don't know, I'll have to give that one some thought before using it as a color descriptor.
