A to Z Challenge: Bahamut

Welcome back!

For the A-to-Z Challenge this year, I am highlighting characters from my favorite gaming franchise, Final Fantasy. For B, I bring you one of my favorite summons: Bahamut.

(As seen in Final Fantasy VIII)

Summons in Final Fantasy are creatures you can call on to help you fight when the going gets tough. Bahamut is first seen in Final Fantasy III and is used in every other game after. He's most frequently depicted as a large, black dragon whose attack is called Mega Flare, a concentrated laser beam that causes a huge explosion.

He looks the coolest in Final Fantasy X

The Final Fantasy devs are very good at adapting their summons, and of them all, I think they've done one of the best jobs with Bahamut. You'll also see another mention of Bahamut a little later in the challenge, as he plays a big part in Final Fantasy X, so stick around!

Honorable Mention for B:

Barrett from Final Fantasy VII. A foul-mouthed, hot-tempered eco-terrorist taking care of his best friend's daughter? Talk about complex!

2nd Honorable Mention:

Balthier. Final Fantasy XII should have been about him. Point blank. He's one of the only good things about that game. Sexy pirate with smooth accent and a love for bunnies (I'll explain later lol).

A to Z Challenge: Writing Colors - Bondi Blue

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to the A-to-Z Challenge!

This year, I decided to provide different colors for descriptive purposes in writing. I'm using the website Color-ize to look at an alphabetical list of colors that we can use instead of using the same basic colors we know off the top of our heads. One color can come in so many shades, so why not take a look at them? :)

Today's color in my Shades of Blue series: Bondi Blue.

This color irks the ROYGBIV color scheme in my closet! It definitely fits somewhere after the greenish blue shirts, but does it go before or after the bluish green shirts?...Argh! It is a beautiful color, though. There's a Bondi Beach, right? Is that where that comes from? Man, now I want to go on vacation.

B is for Bad Day...and Banana Rum...and Bread

Welcome to Day 2 of the A to Z challenge!

It's not that I'm having a bad day, but I didn't get to sleep when I said I wanted to, and now that that's happened, everyone is calling at work, and everyone needs something for me to do, and I would just like to sleep.

*another scan grrr*

Anyway, so tonight around 7pm, I will be sipping on a shot of Banana Rum Cream which I purchased in Jamaica on my cousin's birthday cruise, and I will be going to bed at 9pm. If I'm tweeting at 8:59, someone tell me to close my laptop and my eyes.

Now that Easter is over, my church's extensive fast is over, so I can eat bread again without feeling guilty. I did eat bread a few times during the fast, because I just can't not eat bread. Take away my meat and fish. Cool. GIVE ME MY BREAD! I love bread. Wheat, white, rye, pumpernickel, sourdough. All of it. I need it. It's my life force.

Okay, I must make this short, because I have work to do. Hopefully, I'll get around to other people's B-attitudes today (badump ch!).
